(Marwan Al Shaqab x Selket Promise Kept)

Two classy stallions related to our blood-line have held the title of Brazilion National Champions.  Both of them are sired by king-maker Marwan Al Shaqab and BOTH from mares born on our farm.  Many congratulations to all concerned. To the trainers, the breeders and the owners who made these beautiful stallions possible for the world to see.

FA El Shawan

The maternal grand-dam of this stunning young stallion was born on our farm. She was a daughter of our international Champion stallion, *Furno Khamal. This beautiful stallion was bred by our friend, Marlene Reider, and his full sister, Selket Marlaina, is in our barn. Besides his overwhelming success in the showring, FA EL SHAWAN is a young stallion with the potential to be a great sire. Check out his pedigree!

Kizzes has received her Legion of Honor award with a total 134 Legion points not including those from the Sahara Sands Show earlier this month. All of her points were completed in Dressage competitions in both Purebred Arabian and Open Dressage shows. The wins that I find most exciting are the open shows because Kizzes is only 14’ 2” & she is competitive against the Warmbloods who tower over her often beating some pretty high priced imported horses!

*Note: These shows are competitions open to all breeds including Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, etc. who are much larger horses, usually over 16 hands. Exkwizitt is 14’ 2” (takes after her dam, Expolena, who is 14’1”). It is quite an accomplishment for her to beat these horses at open shows where there can also be some breed prejudice against Arabians in addition to the size difference. Kizzes has lovely suspended gaits & a can-do attitude which gives her a much larger impression than her actual physical size. Additionally, she usually performs better at shows than at home, really enjoying the attention of the limelight.

SELKET MARQUE (Marwan Al Shaqab x Selket Khamala)

owned by David Caines and Scott Bailey of Arabhorse.com and Stonewall Farms, Scottsdale, AZ

"I felt that Marwan El Shaqab would be a good cross on our world-class mare, Selket Khamala. When Marque was born, I was thrilled with the fact that he received Marwan's strengths and was definitely a Selket horse resembling his mother and grandfather, Furno Khamal." -- Jim Andreson.
